Why was the Middle Kingdom period a "golden age" for Egypt?

These are some reasons why the middle kingdom was considered a “golden age.” First, there were people going on expeditions, looking for goods, which lead to the growth of trade. Also, monuments built to respect gods were built, which meant architecture had developed. Another reason that the Middle Kingdom was a "golden age," was because the Ancient Egyptian pharaohs during the Middle Kingdom lead battles to get back land that Egypt had lost during the previous (old) kingdom. That helped Egypt rise to power again.

There are a few theories to how the pyramids were built. Research a few of the strategies that historians believe the Egyptians used to build these ancient wonders. Describe advancements in math and technology that were developed to build these tombs.
One theory on how Pyramids were built by using long ramps. According to the book, “Discovering Our Past,” the theory suggests that, “workers first searched for stone in places throughout the Nile River valley or in Upper Egypt. After locating the stone, skilled artisans used copper tools to cut the stone into huge blocks. Next, workers used rope to fasten the blocks onto wooden sleds. The sleds were pulled along a path made of logs to the Nile River. There, the stones were moved onto barges that carried them to the building site. Workers unloaded the blocks and dragged or pushed them up ramps to be set in place at each new level of the pyramid.” Advancements in Math and Technology were needed to build these pyramid tombs, because the knowledge of angles and ramps/ other tools to bring the stone to the pyramid were necessary.
